In December 2004, Global United Publishing Corporation based in Hailey, Idaho contacted BlogCorp about building a brand new web site to accompany the launch of their new snowboarding magazine. Working out of New York City, Portland, OR and Idaho a team of individuals built one of the best community-driven web sites on the Internet for snowboard enthusiasts.
In a span of a mere three weeks, BlogCorp designed and built snowboard-mag.com, a site that offers forums, blogs, image galleries and a never-ending source of snowboarding news for the snowboarding industry.
Built on top of an open source software package called Drupal, the Snowboard Magazine web site is a great example of a publisher embracing the Internet and giving back to the community that drives their industry.
